Michael Jackson was in my opinion one of the greatest entertainers and showmen that the world has ever known, unfortunately he was also a very disturbed individual.
I don't think anyone can deny that Michael Jackson had a huge influence on the music world, his "thriller" album was and for ever will be one of the most influential ever, but he had a darker side and that sadly will in most peoples minds be what he is remembered for, his desire to be "White" turned the black communittee against him and also angered the whites, the extreme cosmetic surgery and skin toning he went through showed the world a very insecure and sick man, the building of Never Land, may have been Michael Jacksons way to try and erase a very sad and unhappy childhood, but what he created was a magnet for children and there then followed allegations of child molestation, and in the wider world he was found guilty even though he paid off his accusers before the trial, he further angered people by dangling his baby child over a balcony and nearly dropping it, Michael Jackson for all his musical genius was also a very disturbed man, and sadly I think that will always take away from his musical achievements.
Many people will mourn the passing of Michael Jackson, some others will feel that justice has been done.
