Lincoln always seemed to me to be a very unassuming man with no airs or graces, but had the ability to speak to people in a way that enthralled his listeners, the "Gettysburg Address" must be one of the most notable speeches ever made, I think that another Famous orator and writer put into words a perfect description of Lincoln when he wrote "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them".
